Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:19-23(NIV)
Jesus is our sacrifice, He died on the cross for our sins and is standing on the right hand of God, making intercession for those who believe and have given their heart to Him as their savior. By His death and sacrifice He gave us the right to enter into the Holies of Holies and plead our cause. Under the old law only the priest could go into the Holies of Holies and pray, but by the shed blood of Jesus we can pray directly to Jesus.
Let us have a full assurance of Faith and not waver for He is faithful who promised it to us.
This is a covenant between God and His people.
