In Hebrews 1:3 Jesus finished His earthly work His Father sent Him to do, and then sat down on the right hand of God, making intercession for you and me.
In Acts 1 Jesus through the Holy Spirit gave commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen.
Verse 3 To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
In the 4th verse Jesus commanded them to not depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father.
Jesus is about to transfer His power and responsibility to His disciple and all that were with them by Baptizing them in the Holy Spirit, which He operated in His ministry.
Jesus told His disciples when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit has come you will know I am at the right hand of the Father. When they were in the upper room there were about 120 people Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
vs.3-Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
vs.4- And they were ALL FILLED with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Peter stood up and said, Jesus is exalted to the right hand of the Father!
