Someone gave this to me some time back.
I thought I would share this with my friends.
Two definitions of a warrior…
- A person who shows or has shown great vigor, courage, or aggressiveness.
- One who is engaged in or experienced in warfare. When most of us think of a warrior they think of a large, strong man, clothed in his finest battle attire. With sword in hand this man looks like he could take on any battle put before him.
However, when I think of a warrior I think of something much different. I see the gray haired Grandmother who is always on her knees praying that her grandchild be delivered from addiction, the young wife praying her husband will find the right job to support their family, the single Mom who ask God every morning to give her the strength to make it through the day, the woman praying and believing to be healed of the disease she is battling, the Mom praying for peace after losing her child, the Mom who is always in prayer and believing for her childs salvation.
If you saw this woman on the street you would not think she was in or even ready for battle. But, don’t let her unassuming appearance fool you. She is ready! She is clothed with her breastplate of righteousness, she has on her helmet of salvation and she is carrying her Sword of the Spirit.
The enemy needs to be afraid of this woman! You may see her on her knees more than you see her standing. She is strong. She is beautiful. She is brave. She is fearless. She is unstoppable. She is the true definition of a warrior. Make no mistake she will win her battle.
She is a Woman of God!!!!
