HE is our Rewarder

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
 
 A new year is at hand , yesterday is gone and we cannot change a lot of what happened. But we can change ourselves spiritually.  We need to walk in faith for without faith we will not see the Lord.  The Lord is a reward to those that diligently seek Him.
Seek Him diligently at all times and have a steadfast Faith when troubles come.
 Stand, pray, thank Him, though it all. 
 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of thing not seen.  Heb11:1
 
As 2013 comes we know that the coming of the Lord is near.
This could be the year, so get ready for His coming.  Look for Him every day and be ready.

Peace on earth ! Good will to all !

 Today is Christmas Christ is born, He came to save the world…. you and me.
John 10:10  “The thief (devil)  does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Jesus came to give us life, if we will only serve him.  There is nothing like serving Jesus.  This year we went through a motorcycle Wreck with my son and his wife and how great it is to know a God that protects and heals the body.  I don’t know what people does without the Lord.  The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus gives us life.  Don’t you want life today?
2 Corinthians 10:3 -5   For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts it self against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
We need to stand against every spirit that will destroy, for we are living in perilous times , walk in the Spirit and we will not full fill the lust of the flesh.    

 Jesus came to give life……. serve Him.

What would you give?

        We have had a great Thanksgiving this year.  My Daughter and her husband had Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and my son and his wife had a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday.    

 I pray you had a Blessed Thanksgiving also.

Matthew 3:1-12  We  find here John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness saying, “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (Kingdom of heaven it refers to Gods rule in the world). The gospel has not changed it is still the same.  If we sin we must repent.  ( Repent is a decision that results in a change of heart and mind.)

Matthew 16:24-26  Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but who ever loses his life for my sake will find it.  For what profit is it to man if he gains the whole world, and loses his OWN soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul.”

 

One second after dead we would give it all. 

The only thing will last is what we do for Christ!

Sin will take you farther then you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, cost you more than you want to pay. The world and some of the church world thinks you can do any thing and get to heaven. 

Not true.  If the word of God says it is sin then it is.

Luke 16:24  The rich man begged Abraham to sent Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool his tongue; For he was tormented in the flames of hell.
