Where could I go but to the Lord?

When we repent and ask the Lord to forgive us of our sins and turn from our wick ways and have a made up mind to service Him all the days of our life Jesus will meet us right where we are at.
The world is full of trouble and heart ache, But Jesus will go though it all with us if we let Him.
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.
Ps. 34:7 (NKJ)

Jesus is concerned about everything that concerns us.  If we love and fear the Lord His Angels are around us at all times .

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good:  Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Ps.34: 8-10
Taste in Greek means to eat, discern, perceive:
We need to examine the wanders of God and trust in Him.
Verse 9.
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
Verse 10.  The young lions lack and suffer hunger;   But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Where would we want to go be to the Lord?

Verse 10 said,those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing, If we have a need lets seek the Lord for the need,  His promises are true.

God richly bless you!

What is my calling?

Have you ever wondered what your Calling in God might be?

Many struggle for years with this very question. Am I?  Am I? We worry ourselves ineffective as we try to figure out which Great Calling we will participate in.

For years many miss their chance to bring Children into the Kingdom of God, while praying and fasting trying to find our Callings.

After the death of Jesus His Disciples sat in confusion trying to figure out what to do next.  They had seen first hand what witnessing for the Kingdom brought and were in great fear.  Kind of sounds like most of God’s Disciples today doesn’t it?

Mark 16:14-18  Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every Creature….

This is the first and continuous calling of every believer.  Just as Baptism is your first public witness of your LOVE and allegiance to Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Witnessing is the first and next step into the Calling that Jesus has given to all believers.

How do I do it?

The disciples were cowering in fear after the death of Jesus.  They hid after His burial.  But when they witnessed His Resurrection and were convinced that Eternal Life was possible, they began to fulfill their Calling,(Great Commission) to spread the Good News Of Jesus, to every person. This involved-criticism-imprisonment- beatings- even horrible deaths, but because they were completely convinced that eternal life was available to all who would receive.  They were more than willing to suffer any obstacle to fulfill their Calling.    Romans 10 is God’s handbook to your calling.

When we accept this responsibility we are well on our way to fulfilling our Calling in Christ.

“YOU WILL FIND YOUR CALLING, WHILE BEING THE WITNESS CHRIST HAS CALLED YOU TO BE”

When People Offer themselves

When people willingly offer themselves they become engaged in Spiritual warfare.

1. They become Available;
You make your self available to His will, the call on your life.
Everyone is called to preach the word.  Mark 16:15  is the commission Jesus left us when He ascend to heaven.  We were born to serve the Lord and have fellowship with Him.  The call can be to our neighbor-hood or a call to be Missionary or a call to the world, wherever you are called lets be willing vessels.

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land:But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. Isa.1:19-20

2. They Deny the flesh;
Jesus said take up your cross and follow me.  There is a cross that everyone has to bear.  Jesus had to bear His cross for us to be saved, shredded His blood for the remission of sins, that we though Him might be saved.  Only believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
